We are the Ramstad Family. We are a growing family of 5 now with our little son, Rowen, being born this last January. We are all born and raised in California in the more country town of Ramona. Our children are our life and love, we work each day to teach them how we can live off our land and leave it better then how we found it. We were raised by very hardworking parents who taught us to work hard for what we want in life and never take your blessings for granted. We believe that learning be self-sufficient is essential and if these turbulent times have taught us anything its how true that is. We understand the traditional view of a homestead needs to change as the times we live in have. However, we hold a strong belief that with knowledge and hard work it can not only help you survive but truly achieve happiness in your home. Homesteading is the way of life in which our predecessors lived and worked. Being capable of living off the main grid of society is our dream. We are so excited to start out on this journey to bring products, knowledge and skills into each home. We hope our way of life can bring your home one step further to being self-sufficient and eco-friendly, from one homestead to another.
